Dog Grooming Services in Western Kentucky & West Tennessee

*Appointment policy

Appointments are reserved specifically for your pet. Because grooming blocks are limited, we require timely arrival and timely cancellation notice.


*Vaccination policy

For the safety of pets in our care, all dogs must have current rabies vaccination documentation before service. Additional vaccines may be required based on age, service type, or local veterinary guidance. Puppies must be age-appropriate for grooming and current on required veterinary care.


*Late arrival policy

Clients arriving more than 10–15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled depending on the day’s schedule and the dog’s service block.


*Cancellation / no-show policy

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Missed appointments, same-day cancellations, and no-shows will be charged in full automatically, no refunds by secured payment.

*Matted coat policy

If a dog’s coat is matted, Murray Pet Grooming will recommend the safest humane option. Severe matting may require a shave-down, additional handling time, or referral if the condition presents a health risk.


*Flea / tick policy

If fleas or ticks are found, an additional treatment and sanitation fee may apply to protect the salon environment and other pets.


*Senior / health-risk pets

Older pets and pets with medical issues will be groomed with extra care, but grooming may be modified or stopped if the pet shows signs of excessive stress or health concern.


*Aggressive behavior policy

If a dog attempts to bite, thrash, or cannot be safely handled, the groom may be stopped and a handling fee will apply. Safety takes priority over finishing the groom.


*Pickup policy

Clients must be reachable during service and pick up promptly once notified. Extended stay after completion may result in a holding fee.


*Photo / marketing policy

We may photograph pets after service for social media and promotional use unless the client opts out in writing.
